I am looking for 45-70 brass. I have 40 new 45-90 cases. 20 are Nickel. Wondering if anyone here wants to trade? They are Starline, I could not get a decent pic of the headstamp.

Trim and neck turn

I've done this many times, but never needed to neck turn. I don't like short cases that leave a large gap. I prefer a close fit between the case mouth and the end of the chamber. I've encountered too many short .45-70 cases.

You might need to neck turn if you have a tight chamber, but I've never had it happen loading for several rifles.

I may be able to help out. I shoot both 45- 70 and 90 and may have some excess 70 brass.
I will dig into the closet where all that is stored and count cases and determine if there is excess 70 brass.
