Made it to the range last weekend with my Contender. 5 shots at 100 yards with Nosler 50 gr B-tips over H335.

Thank you hookeye! Definitely won the wood lottery when I got this one. Factory stock, not easy to find nos like I did with this one last year.

Have you done anything to accurize the contender, trigger job or other things.

Thanks dale06. I haven’t done anything to this other than adjust the trigger. That’s what is nice about the original Contenders, the ability to adjust the trigger. This has about 2 1/2# pull.

T/C used to use some nice wood, kinda like Ruger No 1's. Lucked into a nice stock a couple years ago but it was in not so great shape with a couple cracks. Thought it was worth fixing up.
