Does anyone know what thread size T/C uses on their .45/70 barrels?

Is it 5/8-24, 3/4-24, or something else entirely?

Thanks,
George
I just measured the ID of the thread protector for my 444 Encore barrel that has a break on it. It measured .640 but was done in an aftermarket shop and not TC.
Thanks, but I need the thread pitch for the OEM muzzle tamer.

Heard they are soldered on?
If not then some wicked locking compound.
Interesting.
LGS has a 14" .35 rem w brake (hate brakes) in stainless w Leupold 2.5-8X scope.
Think 500 plus tax.
If I can get that %$#@ brake off..............have an extension made to 18"
Carbine city (scope change of course).
They aren't soldered on; it looks like Rocksett was used once the muzzle tamer is removed.

Heat the brake over the threads and unscrew it (I saw it done years ago).

I want to use a different 'muzzle device'.
