Edit:

Pin slips in and out of my easy open blued frame.
Got a used bbl today......pin gets about half way.

Feeler says there's a slight ring in the middle (half way around at most).
Is not sloppy up to the stopping point.

Polished a tiny bit in bbl hole.
It goes in with moderate taps now.
Come out with same.

Not excessive IMHO but more than any prev Contender I've had (5 frames, maybe a dozen bbls)

Trigger is scary good.

Need a Herret wood Super 14 forend and a barrel band for front sling attach.
Have a 2X to put on it tomorrow.

TC guy will be at gunshow local in 2 weeks (hopefully). Could be finished that Sat and shooting on Sunday
(.35 rem, have some Remington factory 150's to try).

Got some questions on the Pachmayr gripper.
Had a lot of flash up top....of main hole. Seats better now.
Still seems kinda flimsy.

Anyway, this came w a sling swivel stud. Long bolt w collar.
It bottoms out and is slightly off in rotation.

Do I want it bottomed out, adj bolt/collar length?
Dunno if the swivel deal comes with instructions saying grind to fit.

Proly chitcan the swivel idea and just get a 3" bolt.
Just gonna be my maybe deer gun, pop a doe on video.
Primary is rifle, so no big deal.
