Wrapping up a few weks of beaver trapping, then that's all folks. I will be glad to get some rest and a fur check, but I hate to think how long it'll be before I'm digging in the dirt again.

Hope you all enjoyed it, I did. I had great days and frustrating days. Beautiful sunny days and freezing cold miserable days. Some days I caught alot, some days I came home empty handed. But , [Linked Image] [Linked Image] "It's always a good day to be a trapper."
Stoveman, here is a link to a trapper in North West Territories, Canada. He has made a series of videos of his trapping for lynx, wolverine, beavers, wolves, etc., plus he hunts for all the meat he eats. I found them very interesting.

He uses coarse language so if that offends you, don't watch the videos. Didn't bother me. The subject matter and how he traps and lives way out in the Canadian wilderness was fascinating.

Glad you had a good season.

With the drought here, most everything I trap for was dried up and starved out. Not a good year here.
Thanks for the link!

Better times ahead, DDeer. A fatal flaw in most trappers seems to be rediculous optimism, I'm quite guilty of it. Good luck.
