A few of you may have known Darin Freeborough. He passed away Monday night. He was one of the best coyote trappers east of the Mississippi, and taught many how to trap canines. He was one of the guys features on F & T Fur Harvesters show on the Pursuit Channel.

I posted a few words about Darin on my blog last night, and attended his funeral today. During the funeral alone, over 3,500 people read this, and certainly thousands more will by the end of the day. THAT is much more of a tribute than my own poor words:
Good-bye, Darin.

There will never be another like him.

Steve.
R.I.P.
"Darin was 52, too young for a good, healthy, active man to die."

Amen to that way too young to die -- rest in peace Darin .

I camped out at my hunting lease Friday after hanging snares all day , I laid in my cot listening to the night knowing that someday this will come to an end .
Hate to see people like Darin who have a passion for the outdoors lose their life .
RIP
So Sorry....RIP
I just saw this, sorry to hear. My son and I saw him at an outdoor show here in VA a few years ago. He had my son hand him tools out of his trap basket as he did his talk and gave him a DVD afterwards for helping. Also spent a bit of time talking with him about trapping, you could tell he enjoyed sharing his knowledge especially with the kids.
Thoughts and prayers to the family,
Will
Sorry to hear this.. He is hunting and trapping in a better place.. But the time til we all get there is a difficult thing to deal with.. Best wishes to all his family..
