My seldom used property is getting over run by badger. There is a lot of pigeons that are beginning to live under the mobile home. Now the badgers are awful. I got 5 so far using krona bears. Any advice welcome!
Interesting.
I mostly leave the badgers alone, but it would be fun to learn more about them.
I would love to leave them alone.
But they keep diggin up my corrals, house, and well house.
i would like to learn more on trapping badgers, they sure can tear up a pasture.

I don't know about badgers, but I can tell you how to trap a cat...
What are the badgers after? The pigeons?
What are they digging up out in the corrals? Would it be easier to get rid of what they are chasing instead of trying to get rid of the badgers?
Sounds like you have pretty good success with your conibears.
It seems like a badger only digs one way.....at least all the badger I have watched dig down, find what they want and then back out or turn around.
A conibear staked at the entrance or a foothold buried in the den might be the best way.
I was hoping for an easier bait source than pigeon. But winter is coming , I will stock pile em, perhaps try jackrabbit also.

my last one met the 17M2..........
Have you tried covering the holes and throwing road flares down?
Dave
Nope. I also heard of pumping acetylene into the holes..........sounds expensive.
Could be worse, you could be overrun by skunks. Always fun if you have dogs.
So after the flares do they come out? Or does it kill em in da hole?
What is worse than a skunk in yer piano?
A dead beaver on your organ.
