He's right. The author interviewed as many combat vets from World War 2 as he could in order to tell their stories and had them sign his recently obtained M1 Garand. The book is a great read for anyone who might be interested in GI's' WW2 stories..

x2 A very well written book. I believe a few editions have come out now since Andrew is constantly continuing his project. Great read!
