Wife and I went to the movies yesterday to see the new Nicholas Cage western. Good to see Hollywood paying attention to the over 50 generation for a change instead of just releasing another Marvel Sci-Fi flick.

Movie won’t win an Academy Award but both Nicholas Cage and the young girl who plays his daughter were very good. So was the young man playing the villain. Got a kick out of the daughter holding an 1860 Henry Original Ironsides at one point. A well made historical reproduction that I purchased myself recently.

Not super long either so it’s a relatively quick without any significant slow points. Just a good shoot ‘‘em up.

The critic reviews are rock bottom and thats why I decided to watch it.

Its a keeper.

The shameless reference to a “Rossi” had to be intentional.

And it ain’t “Hollywood”, its Nicolas Cage and his vengeance on Hollywood. He puts out more movies per year than any other actor. About ever 10th is a decent one.

Whatever the genetic character flaw they suffer, autism or whatever, was a different path, why not.
