A book about the Spanish Civil War by an anti Communist British citizen that volunteered to fight with the Nationalists under Franco against the newly elected Communist backed Spanish Govt. in 1937. Don't see many books published from the Nationalist side and this one came back a few years ago after being taken out of publication.

Kemp agreed with the Nationalists opinion that the Communists would have been defeated and the war ended more than a year sooner with a lot less government and private property destruction as well as lives lost if the Communists hadn't been continually reinforced by foreign volunteers from all over the world. He states these volunteers were primarily recruited by their local Communist influenced media sources and that many foreign volunteers were often quickly executed when taken prisoner by the Nationalists as they were seen as being responsible for prolonging the war.
It's a good read. It helps to have some knowledge of the Spanish Civil War beforehand - even just reading the Wikipedia article about it will help.
You're right about the Wikipedia article. A lot of different factions on both sides. Hard to keep up with who's killing who.
