'American Sniper' about Chris Kyle is an interesting read.
SEAL training , sniper training as well as some others mentioned.
Then to war in the middle east.
Worth reading.

Totally agree, and a quick read as many of these types of biographies are. Not as well-written as HOUSE TO HOUSE but an interesting record of one man's amazing achievements.

Bought it a couple weeks ago to read on an airplane ride, forgot it in the truck at the airport. Just started reading tonight, so far so good.

My buddy said "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell is better.

Good read, I would have enjoyed more details on the weapons, optics, ammo and how they all worked together.

As usual the grunts win the wars, the politicians and brass do their best to [bleep] it up.
