Boy had him a good weekend. Saturday morning got him a doe, head is a unique shape, like the whole thing is bent. Its amazing how far they can run with no heart. Yesterday evening, a 8 came out right at dark. He was on cloud 9. 260 rem with 120nbt.

Wonder if that doe had been hit by a car or something when younger, or maybe damaged in the womb?

I think its called "roman nose" but I've never seen it in a doe, just older mature bucks, this was just an average sized doe for around here. Didn't notice it when he shot her, she was biggest of the bunch and had us pegged as soon as she stepped out, that made it personal.

Yeah, when a big Nan pegs you, it can often be best to take her out. Had one eyeball me last year for nearly 20 minutes before she finally turned to give me a shot.
