This is a special forum. I believe it is necessary, but we also need to treat this forum differently.

1] Pictures: Posting pictures of kids on this forum is something that should be done only with extreme care. NO identifying information should be included. ONLY a parent or legal guardian is allowed to post a picture of a kid.

2] Language: Comportment in this forum needs to be beyond reproach. This is NOT a general community forum. Consider this a school. You don't behave in a school like you would in a bar.

3] Safety: Safety in shooting sports is especially important when kids are around. Let's project a positive, safe, responsible approach to firearms. Basics first.

I have high hopes for where this forum could go.

But I have to mention, growing up my mom never liked the term "kids" she always said, that is a bably goat.
We were to use children.
Of course she is also the one that insisted my name was "William" not Will, not Bill or Billy, or Willy or any other derivative, She always said "I named you William and that is your name."

Nice to see a safer place for the youngins. I've gat a four year old daughter myself and would hate the thoughts of letting her loose on some of the open forums here. Great bunch of guys but a little rough on the corners. Kudos for thinking up a place just for them!

I am thrilled to see a youth section here! They are the future hunters!!! Get those kids out and teach them the ethics that we should pass on!!!!
