15 Yr old daughter's season so far - 12/06/17
I have three daughters, my oldest really doesn't have much interest in hunting....one day maybe, my middle girl is 15 and really enjoys hunting, my youngest girl is getting motivated watching her big sister. It'll only be a matter of time for that one. For the past couple of years, my middle daughter has used a AR-15 in 6.8 SPC II which has worked very well for her. This year for her birthday I gave her a more traditional style rifle, a Remington 700 chambered in .300 Savage. I topped the rifle off with a Sig 3-9X40 scope and outfitted it with a personalized Montana sling. The load that I chose was one loaded with Barnes 110 gr. TTSX over some IMR 3031 for a MV of 2944 fps. Here are some pics.....
