The Snake River was running high and fast, but we found a few fish in some of the side branches in water that was so clear you had to sneak up on them to have a chance. Layne struck "gold" using a spinning rod with 4# test and a jig that he tied himself. The two cutthroats were 19" and 20". After a few quick pictures both were quickly released back into the stream for another angler to enjoy. Even saw three moose on our hike back to the car to add to what was already a fun adventure. Grateful for the afternoon to make a few memories in a beautiful place...
