going to be a circus. f&g stocked the management area(surrounds my duck ponds) with farm raised pheasants. saw one yesterday and a more bewildered bird never was hatched! probably have to boot it in the butt to get it to fly. saddest rooster i ever saw. hope they wise up a little. f&g released a little over 200 in this spot(2000 acres)
a rooster just showed up amongst my neighbors chickens. this is going to be a hoot!
the ponds are just about dry and water is 40 yards from the cattails. need a Egyptian reed boat to float i guess.
You sure this shouldn't be in the upland section, or is it here because all the waterfowl hunters are going to tear those dumb pheasants up instead of the ducks?

Idaho F&G plant pheasants every year in some public land sections in southern Idaho every year, which is fine, but the stupid things can barely fly. It's the hunting equivalent of kid's fishing ponds. I'm totally supportive of it, but it's not for me.
The Utards go there by the dozens and absolutely eat it up. They think they're shooting wild birds. It's so damn funny to watch. I get a huge kick out of it.
