Looking for a all around duck for my new Benelli. Thinking about a Kicks High Flyer in Modified. I shoot 3 inch #2 mainly. Anyone have any input on these?
They work great. As do many others.

I've been having very good results in a Benelli with a HeviShot extended ported. It has the three constriction rings in it like the Carlsons Cremator. It does throw nice patterns, especially at long range.
kicks makes great chokes.

some things to remember.

unlike other manufacturers, when they marks choke "modified, full, etc." that is the pattern you get with steel shot, it will be more open with lead.

don't use black cloud or winchester blindside with ported tubes, the porting tends to cause malfunctions with the wad stabilizing functions of those two loads

Go Rob Roberts. No need for the extended choke and ports.
The T2 looks sweet but $80 is steep. The kicks/Bailey are about half that
rob Roberts are the pinnacle of chokes for Benelli shotguns.

kicks are good too
I have never gotten great patterns out of Kicks tubes from my Brownings.
I ended up with three different manufacturers tubes for waterfowling.
For close in decoy a Paternmaster Blind Side with 3" Blind Side ammo is deadly.
Mid Range duck the Carlson's Cremator Non-Ported mid range patterns great with #2 or 3 Federal 3 1/2"
Mid to long range white and lesser goose I use a Trulock +1 Full with 3 1/2" B or BB
Long range greater goose or cranes Trulock +1 Full with 3 1/2" Dead Coyote T will fold them up at ranges I haven't seen sense using 3" lead BB.

Shoot what works in your gun with your load not whats on the package. Every gun patterns differently. It gets expensive trying different tubes, but who ever said waterfowling was cheap. You can always sell the tubes that don't work in your gun and recoup some of the money.

Just bought a factory mod and am borrowing a briley extended light mod. Have heard from a lot of guys that they have only got marginally better results with high end chokes vs factory while others get a magic choke. Going to pattern the factory options first.
i suggest you pattern your gun FIRST with your factory chokes. plenty of guns shoot great patterns with factory chokes. without patterning your gun, your guessing.
