Ducks tucked way up into flooded timber. No dekes, no calling, ducks completely silent now.
I love this kind of hunt best.

Nice Wood Duck. We took several woodies this past weekend while hunting in Arkansas. Mallards there are very call shy right now. The won’t fly in the bigger holes in the timber either, preferring the thickets.

Thank you byd. We're hunting every other day now, ducks and geese. Late season goose will end March 10 and I'll hunt her hard til then. Her hunting has really tightened up this season, it's inspiring honestly.
