Looking for a springer that will produce enough accuracy and power to take pigeons out to 100 yards or so.

Is there such an animal?

Been away from the airgun game for a long time now.
There's quite a few guns that will take down a pigeons at that range, it just takes practice.
First off, what do you want to spend?
What caliber?
PCP?
Springer/Ram?
Under lever?
Break barrel?

I would like
best bang for the buck

Springer/ram

Very flexible in:
caliber
location of lever

Highly suggest getting inside of 50yards if possible, pigeons can be tough critters. If not, and you know the range, you will need a bunch of time on the practice range to make reliable hits. Even then, any amount of wind will make regular hits very problematic at best.
I would want to start off with upwards of 16-18ft lbs muzzle energy. RX2, R1,Crusader, etc.
Ok 50 - 75 yards will do also just gotta stalk more
While some who are exceptional may be able to do so that 100 yards is really too tall of order for a springer. that is PCP territory.
I see. Thank you
Springers/rams will shoot that far out, I shoot between 60-80 yards regularly with my springers/rams.
Here are a few to look at.

Anyone of these guns has the power and accuracy out to 80 yards, no problem.

Both of my R9's(HW95)in .177 and .22 are shot regularly at 70 yards,
so does my HW97k in .22.
I also have a rammed HW80 in .177 that I shoot out to 100 yards every now and then,
and it takes a lot of practice and patients to be accurate at that range. And with the right pellet, but that goes for ALL airguns.

My suggestion would be, pick a gun and a pellet sampler from Straight Shooters and practice.
You've been out of the game for a while, get some trigger time before you start stalking.
