I am looking at getting a Daisy 35 to shoot BB's in a dedicated smooth bore gun. I have their 901, but I mostly shoot pellets in it due to the rifled bore. The You Tube reviews on the Model 35 are mostly done by green kids so can't get any technical info on performance. I used to shoot a Crosman 760 with BB's back in the 70's and I thought it was accurate.

Daisy says on their website that the Model 35 is "their newest model" it also looks like the 901 which is one of the new breed. Anyone have one, and how is it working out for them?

Thanks.

Did you get the 35 yet? I would be fascinated with a smooth bore repeater that shot BB's hard and straight.

I bought it about a week ago, it is the fancier version with the camouflage stock and for end. They have an even more expensive model with the fiber optic sight.

It required a break in period to tighten the groups, and the rear sight needed slight windage adjustment, it really likes pellets over BB's so far, I am still learning and breaking it in. Have only used the Daisy silver BB's and no other brand at this time. Getting circular groups outside the target focus using the BB's. I have shot it at 21' in my apartment, bench and offhand. It shoots the same with the RWS pointed pellets, RWS Diabolo Basic flat head, and the RWS domed.

Would like to try some Avanti deluxe BB's eventually, the pellets shoot well in my apartment, and you do get some slight irregularities in a group of shots as it is a smooth bore, but over all very promising. Will take it to my gun range and see how it does at distance shots.

At this time the pellets are the best choice, odd as it is not rifled, but I think the pellets have a greater surface for contact with the bore. I got it as a sidekick to my Daisy 901, these two guns feel/shoot very different in relation to each other. BB's have their place, so I keep a gun that can use them around. My other pellet gun is a RWS 34 springer.

Got one on the way. High hopes for a truly cheap and deadly repeater.

Got it. Big long box, heavy with Daisy silvers. Soon now.
