If you mount a scope on it ,make sure you have GOOD spring airgun rated mounts and scope .

After about two tins of pellets you will know if the rifle (or you) will need more work to make it shoot smoother and/ or more accurately..7ntil.its nroen in- hard to tell.

That's just the nature of magnum spring airguns.

Don't ever dry fire it. Other than that the more you shoot them the better they get. Somewhere around 20K pellets you may need a tune. Enjoy.

I have owned 2 of them over the years, my current one bought in 2010 is excellent. While I thought it was lubricated properly at around 300 rounds I put some oil on the linkage areas where you cock it and it must have been bone dry as it smoothed out a lot after that in the pumping dept.

I run open sights on my mine with those nice fiber optic types. This rifle does well at 50 yards from a bench using the "artillery hold". Have never got anything hunting with it though. I use my multi-pump Daisy 901 for pest birds.

Don't have a tin through it yet, but so far I'm more than pleased!
