Anyone familiar with a Crosman Trap Master 1100?
It is a co2 shotgun

I just inherited one and don't know what to do with it.

Thanks for any advice

Did you get any shells or empties with it ??

Neat guns made back in the late 60's and early 70's. It's a .380 bore. Takes 2 of the regular (12.5 gram ??) CO2 cylinders. They actually made 2-piece plastic "birds" and a launcher. Hit the bird and it'd come apart.

I have a really nice one. Heck on snakes and small vermin at close range on the high power setting.

No, didn't get anything.
Not sure how it works
May just sell it
Any idea of value?
Thanks

I can't help with current value, but I remember seeing those in Gun Digest when I was a kid. They always looked like a lot of fun.

At minimum, you need 2 CO2 powerlets and a shell for the Trapmaster. They can be found from time to time on GB or eBay. Crosman had a reloading tool for them. But you can do OK with a few household items and some lead shot...……….or a light 9mm bullet. Screw the magazine cap off. The CO2 goes in there. There's a button on the under side of the gun that opens the action. Push it and the barrel springs ahead. Slide a shell into the chamber, push the barrel back til it snaps shut, and you're ready to go. The serrated dilly on the tang is to switch between high power and low power. I'd have to double check to see whch is which. But I think forward is high power. Push the safety off and pull the trigger. It goes off. Push the action button again and the empty pops out. Pretty simple, really.

Real world......in really nice cosmetic shape and good operating condition, you're looking in the $150 - $175 neighborhood. Accessories up the price quite a bit.

Search "Crosman 1100" on eBay. There are shells on there right now.
