Just plugged a nice fat squirrel in the back yard with the Benjamin 22cal.

Then got side tracked for 5 minutes wrapping a gift on kitchen table, got my shoes on and went to the back sliding door, just in time to see a Cooper's Hawk swoop in and grab my dead squirrel

I feel SOooooo cheated right now

Hey, hawks gotta eat too!

That's just what the wife said.....

Coupla years back there was an injured grackle in my yard. When I saw he couldn't get to the water in my birdbath I put some down on the ground where he could. Shortly thereafter I looked out the kitchen window just in time to see a redtail pounce on him. His injury was probably from one of the Cooper's that patrol my feeders.
