Looking at getting a Huben K-1 in .25 by the end of the month. Hope it comes in. The semiauto action operates with air pressure. Saw a .22 version demo. It had a 19 round magazine and operated at high velocity with heavy pellets. Sounds like a sweet air toy. Rusty

More Turkish made crap?

I looked that up and I’m struggling to see the appeal here in America. The .22 shoots a 36 grain bullet (not a diablo pellet but what looks like a standard lead .22 bullet except for the boattail and hollow base) at over 1000 feet per second.

That’s really cool, but that is squarely in .22 rimfire territory with all the advantages and disadvantages that offers. For instance, I could legally shoot a .22 rimfire in my backyard but I never would because of safety. But I have no issues shooting a pretty high powered springer because I know that diablo pellets lose steam fast. This gun would be like shooting a .22.

And I guess my next point is since we live in America and there are few restrictions on shooting .22s, why deal with the added weight, complexity, and expense of that air rifle when .22 rimfire performance is desired?

But I do agree that from an engineering standpoint and cool factor, it seems great.

That's considered an "Adult Air Rifle".

Frankly, I wouldn't own an airgun I couldn't kill stuff with.

My .25 Marauder takes the place of a .22 around here quite a bit.

You have to shoot an adult air rifle as you would a powder burner with that same ballistics. I have a .357 airgun that you treat and shoot like a 38 spl handgun. You don't treat them or shoot them as you would a Red Ryder.

In today's market of adult air rifles, the powerful repeaters are king.

Thanks for repeating my point. I don’t want an air rifle that is as powerful as a powder burner. I want a 900 FPS .177 that I can shoot safely in my backyard and kill birds and squirrels with. If I want more than that, I’ll get a .22 rimfire.

Different strokes for different folks.. wink

Airguns have a broad spectrum of applications now.

Couple of reasons are they are not a "firearm" and not regulated by the same laws a .22lr are.

Nor are they dependent on ammo availability. Remember the .22lr ammo shortage? smile

Bunch of Negative Nancys. Did you ever learn about the ability to quiet down an air gun? You can legally suppress and airgun if it jumps through the design perameters of the federal laws. Be Well. Rusty

That’s a decent reason. Of course, I could buy a CZ .22, tax stamp, and silencer for probably half of what that thing costs.

I think this is one of those deals that you should just be able to admit that you like airguns and the engineering and whatever else. I don’t think there is much practical justification otherwise.

You don’t need an excuse, I was just asking.

I like watching the technology and advancements in airguns.

Not only in the guns themselves, but the advancement in technology to fill very high PSI PCP's and noise suppression.

Once this technology took off a few short years ago, it is in full runaway mode. smile

Unfortunately Joebob and JK16 are both just TROLLS. The ignore button takes care of them quite handily. I don't have to ADMIT anything. Yes I like airguns, and other well made items. Rusty

Rockinbar I gave up the Huben and the SK 19 semi/full auto. I went with the order from SPAW in FL of an FX Impact MKII, 700MM barrel in .25 cal. Paid up and Ken is tuning the gun right now. Probably looking at a next week delivery. Then I have to see which scope will work. But the thing should be close to tuned with the .25 JSB Heavies. 33.95 Gr. Should help a squirrel or rat lose his mind. Maybe they will clear the PCP for fall turkey. That would be nice. Rusty

Received the MkII last Friday. It is now scoped, sighted in, and in process of final tuning with JSB Heavy MKII . 33.95 gr in .25 cal. Put on a cheekrest and Atlas bipod. The DonnyFL LDC is on from the factory. I'm not sure if they all come in a case or it was part of my deal with Ken. He also sent an extra magazine, which I ordered. Must shout out Thanks to Ken Hicks from SPAW in Florida. A top shooter and a gentleman in business. Be Well. Rustyzipper

Show us how it shoots when you can!

Ken of SPAW in FL. sent a data sheet from his tuning session. It even included a photo of the gun with serial number. Some insight probably from past experience has him doing that. I appreciated the data. Will be shooting it a bit soon. Thanks. Be Well. Rusty
