Does anyone know these guns?

Local store has one, but it seems pretty underpowered for such a long tube (avg 884 fps with a 6.6 grain baracuda green pellet). Accuracy didn't wow me either.

I'm just wondering if a nice soft lead pellet would help to seal the skirt and pick up the velocity, and help with the accuracy as well.

Looking for the voice of experience, if its out there...

You probably already know this, but velocity isn't always a good thing with pellet guns. Pellets can do weird things as they approach the sound barrier.

Made in China airgun, I wouldn't expect much.

Yes. I'm kinda looking for a magnum, either in .177 or in .22
If I get something in .177 I'd want it to shoot 10+ grain pellets well. Not looking for speed, looking for something that's punchy downrange.

Not excited about underlevers or sidelevers though.

If you want downrange "punchy", get yourself a .25 Marauder
