I recently purchased a bunch of guns from an old friend on hard times. He's too proud to just let me help him, so I bought all his guns that he no longer shoots. He was into cowboy action shooting at one time and I'm not, so will be looking to move these. I know it's the end of the "season", at least around here it is, but anyway...

There's a Winchester 94 SRC large loop in 45 Colt

Cimarron S&W #3 Schofield in 45 Colt with a 7" barrel

Uberti 1875 Remington in 45 Colt with a 7 1/2" barrel and case color frame, along with a 45acp cylinder too

EMF 1875 Remington in 45 Colt with a 5 1/2" barrel and case color frame

An Uberti 36 cal "pocket" 5 shot cap n ball revolver with a 6 1/2" barrel and case color frame

A 36 cal cap n ball brass frame revolver with a 7 1/2" barrel

Also, there's 200 rounds of factory 45 Colt cowboy ammo. Everything is in really good shape, just dirty. I'm going through everything and cleaning them up. Any info is appreciated and thanks. Dean

You probably need to list them individually and on the SASS.net Classifieds.

You need to be a SASS member to list. If your bud is a member, use his name, or find a member who will help you out.

Group list probably not the way to go, IMO.

Was just conserving space and time here. I'll figure it out eventually...
Was just looking for some ballpark info here. Thought it would be fruitful, but I digress....
The Win 94 in a short round isn't held in very high esteem by a lot of CAS shooters and will price accordingly. The Schofield .45 and the EMF 1875 .45 would be the most desirable of the lot, IMO. The cap and ball guns probably less demand.

Going on the SASS.net site will be your best source for pricing and checking out the demand for those guns. You'll be in contact with more CAS guys and gals there than anywhere. Those guns do appear to be in great shape, which should help.

Thanks DF, appreciate the info.

Agree on the Schofield and the EMF - the rifle would sit for awhile in this area - being a Winchester helps, but the buying market majority is focused on semi-autos for the moment.

It would probably do better on Gunbroker where the Winchester collectors are.

Cap and ball guns have sat here for months - no movement, but they're great opportunities for those in the market, and not many new in the stores.
I’m a buyer on the .45 colt ammo if it’s reasonable. PM me.

Whoops, sold it.

Listing on the CAS City forum classifieds wouldn't hurt either. Guns seem to move pretty good there. I check that forum more than SASS. Alot of NCOWS members are members there while they may not be at SASS.

Good info.

I've been out of CAS for a while, had forgotten about that site.

Old pards have told me CAS is sorta dying out, generally. My old club here in Central LA (SASS) is no longer. I'd have to drive 2 hrs to find an active club.

I know there has been some SASS/NCOWS competition, even some back and forth negative stuff. How well is NCOWS hanging in there?
