I have this Marlin Model 1893, octagon barrel, pistol grip, takedown, brass blade front sight, buckhorn rear sight, in a 32-40. The barrel is stamped =For Black Powder=. Are there any suppliers that have safe modern low-pressure loads for this gun? I use to shoot this gun with Remington cartridge's from the 1960's, but I quit doing that and haven't shot it since.

Give Buffalo Arms a try, they have been able to supply all of the obsolete, low pressure ammunition I've needed.

Thanks, I was able to locally find a box of HSM Cowboy Action. I'll try them for now.
