I figured you guys would know best. Who would be the best to work on a JM marlin to slick up the action? I have a friend who has a couple of them that he wants worked over. Thanks in advance.
In the cowboy action world, the SASS shooter/gunsmith, alias Jim Bowie, does great work on Marlins.
I traded for a Marlin 38 Spec. Cowboy Compitition 1894 that had been worked over by this guy. To me, it's the slickest CAS Marlin I ever used. I sent it off for checkering.
Very interesting treatment around the fluer d lis! Have checkered for 50 years and that is the first like that I have seen. Classy Will have to add that to my patterns
