Forgot a couple of photos & discription !

Walleye season opened, last Saturday, after being closed for 5 weeks.

Rode quads in & out, 7 miles, to a buddies camp, on a small lake.

Weather was typical, for opening weekend, snow, sleet, rain & some sun !

Paul;
Top of the morning to you sir, I am going to dispense with my usual salutation since you just have to be at least "okay" after both catching and consuming that wonderful table fare!

While I don't always comment about your photos, I do always check and am never, ever disappointed.

Thank you so much for taking the time to document your adventures and then for sharing them with us as well.

Have a good week my friend.

Isn't it nice when the king tells you when you can take his fish to find your family.

Heading up in a couple weeks to a buddy’s cottage for some ‘eyes.

Paul, I’d think you’d be sick of eating those stinky things. LOL. My favourite fish, bar none.

Another season begins! As much as it's good to ice fish for them, it's so much better in the warmer weather!

Perfect eating size fish. We are headed up North of Nipigon two weeks from today. I hope the water levels aren't super high and the fish cooperate.

Oh, the water is high !!

The little lake we fished, the water was 6 feet over Jason's dock !

*Yep, cookie cutter 16-17" fish.

Thank you! If it really is 6 feet higher than normal then there isn't much sense in us even going. The bath house (and outboard motors) and solar system will be underwater.

I am going to try a new recipe that uses yogurt and Italian bread crumbs. A buddy of mine says it is delicious and not as greasy as pan fried.
