I have been travelling the past few days, having spent much of my time in Ottawa. Because of this, I have been able to stop in at several Ontario gun shops.

They all have more powder than in the past couple of years. Primers are coming in, especially from Europe.

Higginsons is showing a lot more Hodgdon and AA powders. For the Canadians who reload, you should try some AA stuff. They have almost all of AA's powder line in stock.

I was in Waterloo, ON few days ago and Shooter's Choice says their component supply is getting better. They have two lock ups with powders in both.

Powder prices are still up, but I managed to get 2 lb of VARGET for $70/lb. Win 296 for $55.

I am cautiously optimistic. laugh
It is doing a little better in SE WIsconsin too.
Thanks for the update. I am seeing increased availabilty in Sask as well.

That's good news! It's good to check in with X-Reload as well. Rene seems to get some components quicker than others. http://www.x-reload.com/

All the best.
Picked up 2 lbs of Alliant 2000-MR today I haven’t seen that powder since 2019. Good to see Alliant getting powder back out their.
I'm starting to see Ginex show up more frequently in BC. Unfortunately, they are about 3 times the cost ($12-$13/100) compared to April 2021 according to my notes.
The Euro stuff is coming in faster and there's more of it than the US stuff.

I was in Cabelas in Barrie, ON yesterday and their powder prices are very high. I was looking for more Varget and Benchmark. I have about three pounds of B'mark still, but am always on the lookout for powders. At any rate, Benchmark at Cabelas is $90/lb. I turned down $75/lb when I was visiting Waterloo the other day. No wonder it's in stock.

I am at another conference for the rest of the week down there, so will pick up some AA powders. The prices are more reasonable at $55-$60/lb.
