It's a few hours before everything begins. At 4 PM, we start with a Christmas Eve light supper with family. Later, midnight mass. If you attend church, Christmas Eve is a long day. Keep rested.

On Christmas Day, my daughter's family comes over here in the morning. She is five minutes away. We open gifts, have some brunch and everyone leaves about 11. At 4 PM tomorrow, her brood returns and Christmas supper begins.

This year, we have a new family member. My niece gave birth to a baby girl a few days ago. Needless to say, it's been a busy couple of weeks!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

My wife as a young girl didn't like that their tree didn't go up until Christmas Eve. I liked the fact as a kid ours wasn't taken down until after January 6.

As a child, our tree went up about two weeks before Christmas. My parents loved this time of year. I miss that. My wife's mother used to keep the tree up until Jan 6th. For them, that was Little Christmas. smile
