Top of the league,a first this late in the season.
Yup, hope they make a play for Parise before trading deadline as him and Kesler would make a deadly second pairing.
The Canucks will not win the cup, ever. They always choke, and their best two players are a couple of Swedish figure skaters.
grin The "Swedish figure skaters" are number 2 and 3 in league scoring.I didn't notice any Flames in the top 20. Monashee

Watching them play Calgary now.

1-0 Van
horkin yorkin has gone strangely silent... wink
It's still almost thirty games until the end of the regular season, but the Canucks have scored the most goals and allowed the fewest. The last teams that did that were the '77-78 and '78-79 Habs.

4-2,and I think the Flames played as well as they could, and the Canucks didn't have their A game. I watched the game instead of listening while reloading.See, there is a hunting/gun connection.
Canucks farm team could beat the Flames so I won't get too excited with the win, hopefully we get everyone back in time for the playoffs.
And the Canucks have done this - while presently on their 14th defenceman. Remarkable - when you think about it.

I wouldn't get too cocky just yet, this is a reminder to myself as much as anyone else. Calgary is starting to play well, Chicago gives us everything we can handle and we still can't beat Detroit on a regular basis. Canucks are playing well now, a joy to watch when all cylinders are operating, however, as we all know all too well, the playoffs are a different kettle of fish. The silver lining to the injured defencemen is that we get to give the young guys a chance to show their stuff and get the experience.
No need to remind me of all the potential heartbreaks that might lie ahead - I've been a big Canuck fan for 40 years now. cry

You am me both brother, you and me both.
I remember when Portland always seemed to beat them out,pre-NHL. And I also remember when we quit buying Old Style after the Canadians nixed Vancouver in the first expansion.
