A very great Canadian, has left us, as Mr. H.C. Chadderton, "Cliff" has passed at age 94, Nov. 30, 2013.

He was a man whom I greatly admired and whose life post-WWII, was an example of all that is finest in our country and it's native sons/daughters.

His efforts on behalf of his fellow veterans of that terrible conflict have helped so many and yet he always seemed a quiet, humble and decent man who never complained about his own wounds, such as the partial leg amputation after being wounded in "The Scheldt".

He, was with the regiment whose men were murdered at "L'Abbaye Ardenne" by the "Waffen-SS" and he survived to become one of Canada's true "heros", in my opinion.

"Lest We Forget".
Thanks for this reminder Kute.
yes, he was a man who made a difference. Canadians shot a lot of S.S. upon identifying them, and should have shot them all.
