I just learned after plus fifty years that the Crew-Cuts were a Canadian group. Think, "Sh Boom". The Diamonds, "Little Darlin'" of course, and many more.

Good lists, not stars on TV, nor the silver screen, but Pierre Trudeau, Margret, and Justin have provided entertainment of sorts, just not the kind we like.
We don't want beiber or dione back! Why do you think no-one put up a fuss when they flew south. Oh,and ronnie hawkins is american, only in canada for 1960's reasons.
Also, April Wine Harlequin Pat Travers Kim Mitchell Aldo Nova Joni Mitchell (best album covers) Jeff Healey And the 20 year old blond pole artist who could smoke the chrome off a trailer hitch... Eh?
Nice thread to plug the "high rollers", but my wife took me to Disney World for a combination trip. My 70th birthday, our 43re wedding anniversary, and Valentine's Day all rolled into one 5 day celebration. There we were, walking around on Dec 27th in 80* temps at Epcot in the Canada display, (about the best there was) and we came upon this group. The Canadian Holiday Voyagers. That group was absolutely fantastic. A real touch of class.
Joni Mitchell and Neil Young are two others that jump out at me.
NO doubt Triumph has a couple great songs but the number is limited, now RUSH on the other hand has so many great songs one can't even start to name them all. They're on their 40th year of averaging 200 concerts a year!!!
