What do you think? I was just listening to Canadian Public radio, a few things said sounded strange to me. Canada's demand for the US on climate change, and women's, and indigenous peoples rights.
I've lived on both sides of the border.
A friend in BC once told me that the only thing Canada really had to offer to the States was it's natural resources. The US has everything else it needs except the minerals, metals, lumber and oil. So, demanding ? More like a request I guess.
The US has resources, lefties have blocked logging, drilling and digging here.
MAGA.
When I was in Canada a while back I was surprised about how the average Canadian viewed the dairy issue.
The Gov and Dairy producers wanted protection.....the consumer wanted choice.
There were no pulsating throngs of people demanding to keep US dairy out of the country.,
I suspect most Canadians don't give a damn about climate change or indigenous peoples (aka indian) rights. They do care about being disrespected by an ally. GD
We don't care about climate change as long as it gets a bit warmer from November through April.
