Ice roads, winter roads, do you use them?

One fall we hunted along what would be a winter road later in the year. I was amazed (and disappointed) at the amount of garbage strewn along it. The single most prevalent item seemed to be disposable diapers.

Not yet. Ice is still too thin. Thunder just froze over.

Well, they're important here, and this is where the show originated, with the road to the diamond mines. Everyone is a bit apprehensive right now as what little ice we have is covered by two feet or more of snow, .....hard to make ice when it's insulated. Up at the mines they're fine have already had 2 weeks of minus 35 so that end is doing fine! Once January hits, I assume everything will be a go though!
