When do you think the lakes break up?

I'm planning on early May.....but later in central Canadian lakes.....add a week.

June 10th in what we call the Southern portion, and end of June to 15th July for the Northern mainland. End of August for the High Arctic.

Mid to late May for Cold Lake, the smaller lakes in the area open up earlier

My gosh !>> Put in the cold crops in the Garden 2 week ago!! Spinach is up!!

Ducks do not leave this area , Canada Goose have been fighting for nest space just Now! along the Kettle River!
