I thought that I would get a jump on my taxes this year. I signed on to complete the return and electronically submit it to Ottawa, but, oh dear! They aren't accepting returns until the 24th of Feb. Site maintenance.

That is normal. The people doing electronic filing in February are usually getting a refund back. CRA like to keep that money in their hands as long as they can.

Most years I can get my return in early. The record is a refund on 3 March. Not this year though...
