I bought 8 lbs of it about 10 yrs ago, and still have about 2 lb. I used it recently as a cheap propellant to fireform some 223 cartridges. Previously, I had only used it with 7.62x39. It burned fairly clean and while the accuracy was okay, it was only good for plinking.

I shot 50 cartridges the other day from a clean 223 barrel, using WC735. This is what the first three patches looked like. Although it's cheap, the cleaning time required didn't seem like a worthwhile trade off for its low price. 40 min.

I should add that I soaked the barrel for about 20 minutes with Hoppes. The black spot in the upper right was the Hoppes dripping from the muzzle.

I have a few pounds. It is an OK powder in my 30/40's and 303's but it is dirty. I have found Liquid Wrench penetrating oil (aerosol) to be a superior powder fouling solvent. GD
