So, I get an email everyday from Merriam-Webster called Word Of The Day.

I use this often to try to add new words to my vocabulary. It's said that if you can use the 7-10 times that you will most likely retain the word in your memory.

So, I've decided to start posting a new word each day when I have time. If you're interested, feel free to add them too.

Today's Word:

Manifesto - noun man-uh-FESS-toh

A written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer

Repeating and even writing the word in sentences did not do it for me back I 5th grade vocabulary class for a certain word- to this day I cannot think of the word but the definition is, "to make trite through over use."

Otherwise, I pretty much agree with the repeating premise. I would be careful with the word you received as regular repeating might get you on the no fly list among other lists.

When I see a word I’m not sure about the meaning, I look it up.

Came across two words yesterday in my reading:

FURTIVE

ASSUAGE

( furtive: on the sly, not wanting to be detected. It was in reference to Rosenstein wanting to furtively record Trump’s comments)

(assuage: To mitigate, subdue, ease, lessen the impact)
