So I generally prefer figuring out what I want to do.
Research the load data put out by the different manufacturer manuals.
Decide what is a happy medium amongst the varied data..
The load and work through finding my sweet spot.

Many refer to phone app ballistic calculators and reloading apps.
If you are willing,
Tell me what you use and why you use it.

I have an inkling of the limitations of quickload, but certainly not all.

There's nothing similar to QL for a smartphone or tablet.

-For a ballistic computer away from home but on a tablet or smartphone, I prefer the JBM Ballistics website.
-I use QuickTARGET Unlimited (comes with QuickLOAD) on my computer(s).
-The app called Shooter is pretty decent if you can't plan ahead and make yourself a drop chart, and don't have data access. I used it when I had an Android-based machine at my disposal. My brother still uses it and loves it.
-I use BallisticArc, too. I like it pretty well.
-The Lapua Ballistics app is good for Lapua bullets.

I decline to pay for a ballistic computer for a phone or tablet.
Thanks.
Yeah I sea a lot of reviews that say " waste of money/memory"

Started putting up flags a various distances with surprising results

Well telling if not surprising anyhow.
I use BallisticArc. Works pretty well for me. There ss an app called reloading assistant for load data but it hasn't been updated since 2018 so some of the newer powders are missing.
