Hi,

I cant believe I've not found this place before - great forum smile
It's Hartmut you have to blame for pointing me here! crazy
I'll have a good dig around before I post much as there is obviously lots to take in.

Sorry to ask on my first post, but I have a small QuickLoad problem. I've just upgraded to version 3.4.0.2 and the "propellant table setup" export to Excel no longer works. When clicking the "copy to..." > "Excel" menu option, I get the error "The setup controller has encountered a problem during install. Please review the log files for further information on the error.". I then get a windows "Microsoft Office Excel has stopped working" error frown

Strange as it worked up to version 3.3 with no problems.
I'm using Vista and Office 97 if that makes any differance.

Cheers for now,
Kev.
Hi, Beer Hunter, this is not a program issue or Excel issue. Excel transfer seems sometimes to be delicate.
It's in the operating system: Right click on program icon, select properties, go to compatibility mode:
for Windows XP (and earlier)select NO compatibility mode, for Vista select XP SP2 mode. I hope this will help.
Thanks for the reply Hartmut. Unfortunately the Excel error still comes up - however if I click cancel on the error message quick enough then Excel opens and the data is displayed. Weird!
Just to correct my original post, I'm using Excel 2007, not 97!

Kev.
Just a thought - I upgraded from 3.3 to 3.4 first with the update disc, which had problems. You then sent me a full replacement which I installed over the original. Should I uninstall QuickLoad entirely and start again?
