I have a 338 Winchester mag shooting a tang safety Ruger.

I bought a bunch of 200 grain Nosler Accubonds and was hoping some one had a pet load they were willing to share.

I have 4895 RL19 4350 4831 varget in my reload stuff
I am looking for the same info, going to give the TTSX 210's
a try.
I don't have any info re: the 200 grain Accubond, but I load the 225 grain Accubond and, surprisingly, the most accurate powder ended up being H4895; with Hornady 225 grain SP, the most accurate load was with IMR 4320.
Hope this helps......
I would first go with RE-19 and then 4350, the 19 up to 76 grs. in WW cases, mag.primers, I prefer CCI 250s and WWs, and cut a half grain from my CCI loads when using WW mag. primers.

I KNOW you CAN load a "tad" hotter, but, 74-76-RE-19 works VERY well in every .338WM I have seen it used in and I have come to prefer RE-19 and RE-22 over ANY powder in this, my favourite cartridge for 45+ years and 13 different rifles, have six pretty fine ones now.
I am shooting 230gr. Failsafes (I know, discontinued... I have a couple hundred left). I am using 76gr. of RL-19 and am compressing the powder just a tad. No signs of overpressure. This round is very accurate in my Win Mod 70 Classic with a BOSS. I have been very successful with moose and bears!
Not the same bullets, but I am shooting Barnes 225 TSX and a Barnes reloading manual max load of IMR 4350 with outstanding results in accuracy. .

…Maybe nine years or so late?
My .338 WM was my elk rifle therefor I shot heavier bullets. The most accurate load in my pre'64 Winchester M/70 used Speer 275gr. RN bullets over a max charge of IMR 4350. This load often produced 3 shot cloverleaf groups @ 100yds. and killed elk as though they'd been struck by lightning.

My Winchester model 70 with a Kriger barrel loves 71.5 gr of H4350 and 225 gr Nosler partitions.
72.4 gr H4350 under a 225 gr Accubond gets 2870 FPS and sub MOA accuracy in my M700 KS.

Sounds like a good load:

Old thread, but the 338wm will never get old. Excellent cartridge.
