Packer fan here since the 1960's. Though I pretty much boycott professional sports these days, I do admit to sneaking a look at Rodgers and the Pack every now and then.
Jamesjr I boycotted the nfl for as long as I could. I cannot resist watching the Pack
Back before interest in the NFL was banned by those who set the 'fire's standards, this point was belabored quite adequately.
I was a Pack fan going back to '65. In '97 I was gifted a share of stock; had it framed and prominently displayed. Last year after the club president and head coach came out in support of BLM and the rioters in Kenosha, I sent my share of stock back to them with "Null and Void" written across it. In relinquishing my share I could have been compensated .5 cent (which is all it's really worth) but they never sent the check for me to frame. I didn't watch any games last year. This year I have watched parts of a few games but I no longer wear or buy any more of their merch and I'm only marginally interested as to whether they win or lose. I will admit that they were a great franchise but Lambeau, Lombardi, Starr, Nitschke, are all dead and gone and their likes never to be seen again.
Packer fan here , my main reason is Packers are owned by the public not some rich owners ,i even have a couple of Green Bay Packer stocks and i live in Minnesota . its GO PACK GO TIME !
The Packers are a corporation, one where their stockholders own nothing of value. It's just a way for them to get money from the fans. I used to tell people that having a share of stock allowed me to use the word "we" when talking about the Pack. Since I no longer talk about them, that stock was more than worthless to me. It pained me to look at it. A couple times I sent in the suggestion that they should randomly select stockholders to sit in the owners' box during games along with the club president. I got no reply. Why won't they do that? Because you really aren't an owner, just another revenue source. You give them several hundred $ and they give you a literally worthless piece of paper. Congrats!
You know folks, life is short, and when you reach my age, 71, you begin to see it a lot differently than you once did. I have become to despise many things that I either once liked, or didn't care about one way or another to begin with, because of the way everything has become so political. I'm of the opinion that BLM and it's supporters need to be rounded up and shot, and that doing so would go a long way to getting the country back on track. They're not the least bit interested in racial harmony, instead they're interested in bringing about racial discord because that gives them credibility in their mind. The NFL was quick to jump on the BLM bandwagon, partly because of all the Blacks playing in the league, but also because of political correctness.

With that being said, I have come to the conclusion that I'm not going to let the NFL, BLM, the Democrats, the Colin Kaeperniks, and the rest of the rotten azzed bunch ruin life for me. While I haven't set and watched a complete Packer game in a number of years now, I am beginning to catch pieces of games that I want to keep up with, purely for entertainment purposes only. I do not buy, and have never bought anything whatsoever with a professional sports logo on it, and never will. I have grandkids that play high school sports, and I will wear caps and teeshirts with their logo, and that's all. I figure that life's too short to worry about a lot of crap that I can't control anyhow.

LOL. Haven’t pulled for the Cowgirls since the dumbass JJones fired Jimmy Johnson.

Was a KC Fan until all the BLM and Woke Niqqer & Gay Bullschitt ruined the NFL for me for good.

And I liked the Pack back when Brett Favre was QB 1

Sharon Rogers is a whiny little bitch just like Tom Brady.

I starting following them a couple of years before the first Super Bowl. In those years, I was a Packer fan first, then a Raiders fan because of George Blanda. The George Blanda story is one of footballs best.

The Lions beating them on Thanksgiving Day. Roger Brown destroying the GB offense.
That’s probably the only victory the Lions have had since!!!

..."Change my mind" Forty-niners 4, Packers 0
Hi... from a few comments above, brought it all back to me. And many of you feel the same way. Was a huge baseball fan in the early '60s, living in nyc with the Yankees made it easy. Trouble was the winters, until, my Father had a football game on , the playoffs Giants vs Packers, who destroyed them. THAT was it . i was mystified. Lombardi, Starr, Nitschke, Kramer, Hornung, Taylor, Fuzzy, etc etc. I LIVED every victory with them over the next few years and died every defeat. Saw EVERY game that was televised with hem in it. All the playoffs, both Super Bowls. Then like a fart in the breeze, they were all gone. And then the bs that still continues today started; ya-ya dances, ball spiking, swinging from the goal posts etc etc. The PRIDE was all gone. It got brutal for me. Haven't watched NOTHING of foolball these days with their criminals, antics, and other tom -fooleries. GO TO HELL !
But in '16 did something i promised i would do moments after the Packers won the infamous Ice bowl game; I would visit Green Bay someday. Did the usual tourist traps, Lambeau, practice field, Rip off Packer stores with crap from china, but it still brought me back to those innocent years of the '60s. It made me remember that i had made one other promise. I always wanted to meet Bart Starr. I wrote him a letter as he was living his last days in his Alabama. Bart's son responded back saying that his Dad was moved by my letter and would like to meet with me. I'm so glad that i was given the opportunity to meet with him. As he fought through the condition that would finally take his life, i still saw in him the epitome of what a decent Christian gentleman should be, something he was always known for during his playing years. When we parted, I in tears, all i could say was " I love you man", to which he replied "I love you too' He would pass 9mths later. God rest his soul and to those professionals who played football when pride still mattered.

Well said, Bart Starr was the greatest quarterback of all time, not only for his play on the field but his generosity off of the field. Its such a shame that he constantly gets overlooked as the greatest of all time.
The recent sadness that descended upon the frozen tundra can be traced directly to the decree made by the competition committee before the game that the Packers could not throw a pass to anyone other than Adams.
Being a life long Packers fan, and as of late, a very lukewarm NFL fan, the loss to the 49'ers is very disturbing, not to mention puzzling. Like him or not, Aaron Rodgers has been one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game. Unfortunately for him, he's played on some very poor Packer teams, but most of all, he's been cursed with some bad coaches. I don't know was responsible for the play calling in that game, but they should have been fired on Sunday morning. San Fran is not a good team, and in my mind, that's one of the most disappointing and unnecessary losses in Packer history.

No joke
Rogers is the man.
When I was a small lad, say 1st. grade we lived in Wisconsin. Yup. I was a Packer's fan.

Then my family moved to Minnesota, by then I was in 3rd grade.............Now I'm 64.

I've been disappointed in football ever since.
I'm surprised (and, I must say, gratified) that the fans of the Vikings, Lions, and Bears don't spend their time trumpeting the glories of the NFC North.
