Did any one else catch Justin Verlander putting on a pitching clinic last night against the A's in the final game of the Divisional series? Notice the bullpen relaxing all game long? None of them even bothered to warm up.

Verlander was dominant. Period.

Yes I did. Can't say I liked it much...we shot ourselves in the foot when we didn't get game two, although it sure got interesting didn't it..I'm not complaining, Oakland took us on one helluva ride!

And Game 1 of the ALCS. Sad to see a guy like Jeter get hurt, but it's part of the game. Valverde needs to go home.

2-0 and back to Detroit!!!!

And into the World Series with a no-looking-back sweep of the hated Yankees.
