<br>I'm on my 2nd GSP.....this one is a female....she's just turned 2 yrs old last month. I love grouse hunting, but pheasant are fun too. She's coming along nicely, normally hunting close to me, tho the occassional pheasant likes to run and she will follow. She's steady at point, and has worked with other dogs. I really love the breed, she affectionate and a great watchdog. She gets along well with our other dog(Miniature schauzer).
<br> I'd have no qualms about getting another GSP.

Hi, I've had my GSP for four weeks and he is twelve weeks old. He is my first gundog. All the previous dogs have been used for hunting wild pigs, mainly mastiff/ wolfhound crosses. I cannot wait to try him on quail and ducks. Here in Australia we are in the midst of a drought, so I do not think it will be a good season. One can only hope for more rain. By next june I will be taking him for pheasants and partridges. Happy Hunting.
