New guy....

Merlot came out of the box shy and cautious....Hig came out charging..."Here I am....hang on!!!!" Outside of the first 15minutes of he and Merlot getting acquainted it has been non stop...Play for 5 minutes and then up on my lab....play 5 then, "Where is my lap?" Repeat. repeat...

After three hours, of running the yard, he took Merlots bed and crashed..

Been a busy first day...so many new things to try and figure out.....

I’ve been waiting for these pictures to pop up. Congratulations on the great looking pup! He will have a fine mentor, in Merlot. Wasn’t Toby colored about the same? You three have fun training and getting acquainted. Keep us posted on his progress.

Our Lab pup, Rocky, is a real wild man. He keeps us on our toes and we are having a blast with him. We had him in the pond today.

The family likes the pictures too. Lots of ooohs and ahhs. All said to tell you congrats on the nice pup.

Hig is about to spend the night in the kennel by the bed....I suspect I will be hearing some crying....

Thank you....You have to love puppies....as long as you don't mind missing some sleep for awhile....

Missing some sleep for awhile, just part of it they look to the one who sees to their needs. I think the dogs and new ones especially help keep us younger than we are. They are the finest things in life. Mb

We put Rocky on a freshly shot dove last week. A bit too much prey drive. He very eagerly tried to eat it. Had a darn hard time getting it back from him. We’ve got some work to do in that area.
