Hey Guys,
I'm building a kennel beside my garage and want my dogs (2 labs) to be able to go outside and inside the garage as they please. I want to be able to lock them either out or in in some cases, and want the door to be pretty good at withstanding weather.
Any suggestions on size, brand, etc that would work best on a garage wall? What size is needed for a 80 lb lab?
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Here's a good place to start researching. I just bought one of their 2 flap endura flap wall mount units but haven't received it yet. In the past I've used the Johnson (now PetSafe) Ultimate doors. While functional, they let a lot of "weather" in. For me weather-tightness was the overriding factor in my latest purchase because it will be from the house to the outside. How cold do you want your garage to get?
I'm putting the door on the non-windy side of my garage, and although I have a furnace in the garage, I dont run it often....pretty much just to take the chill out of the air......

Thanks for the link....did some reading there earlier. Just trying to get a real feel of size needed. I do like the 2 flap Endura...
This is where I actually ordered it from. Same price as the manufacturer's but free shipping. I ordered it last Fri. and was told it would be backordered for two weeks but it showed up today. Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

My mom has an obese golden retriever that weighs well over 100 lbs. and he fits through a large door with a 10"x15" flap.
Good to hear man...I appreciate the response......I was worried about size but that definatly helps....
