mad Checked this out on Snopes and it is true. So much of the stuff on the internet is garbarge but this is NOT.

SUGAR FREE CHEWING GUM or any food with artifical sweenter named
XYLITOL
Not that you'd give your dog chewing gum but a dog can find it in women's purses and other places. Make sure you don't make it available to your pets. Big dangerous results.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
I'm not surprised...that stuff, and most other artificial sweeteners are poisonous to many (if not all, at some level) people too. Aspartame (Nutrasweet) will put me down in about 30 minutes. I have painfully learned to ask about everything at potlucks and in people's homes, because some people seem to think they're doing you a "favor" by not using sugar.

How is it for cats? We have a female feline who will eat anything she can get hold of, including poisonous plants and tinfoil.

Thanks for the tip...might well help in diagnosis with a sick pet.

So say 99% of fat people.

If they would hurt you, I'd have been dead a long time ago.
If I eat them, I will be dead...and that's not speculation. What you do is up to you.
