I lost my hunting partner, Axl, of 10.5 years last August and didn't chase any birds in 2010. I got a new pup earlier this year and am trying to make up for last years missed time chasing birds.

GuNR will be a year old in about a week and I am very happy how far he has come this first season.

A little to young at this point for running down yotes, but made good bait.

He has had some big fun the last two weeks.

Another good one yesterday.



Might have to hang up the decoys for a while as rifle opens soon. I am sure we will be able to find some late season birds when I am done with the scoped weapon.

I am so happy how well GuNR has come along. I think he is a keeper.
